Commercial airlines abuse their customers every day. They get away with it because there is no competition due to mergers over the years. What ever happened to “Fly the friendly skies”? This is why I avoid flying whenever possible. Plus, I would miss the scenery and people I meet along the way. Every day on my motorcycle tours I have people come up to me at gas stations, rest stops, and national parks asking about my trip and expressing their awe at my great adventure.
